Is the color sensor supported for Mindstorms NXT Software V2.0?

Is it compatible with version 2.0?
Thing is, I've got 2.1 which features the color sensor block, but 2.1's got a lot of bugs compared to 2.0.
I've had 2.0, but it didn't have the color sensor block, then I switched over to 2.1.
